This disc has music from the time of the landing of the Pilgrims to
World War I. It includes music for historical periods, such as: the psalms of Pilgrims and Puritans (Nos. 2-4); hymn for the end of the American Revolution (no. 13); songs for the Inauguration of the First United States President (No. 14-15); song for the end of the Civil War (No. 20). Holiday music is also included for Easter (No. 23), Thanksgiving (No. 24), and Christmas (No. 29).
