The workshop presented by songwriter & singer Roger Hall included these songs:

"Johnny Has Gone For A Soldier"
Patriotic sngs: "Ode to to the President of the United States (George Washington)"/
"The Battle Hymn of the Republic"
Religious tunes:
"Go Down, Moses" (Afro-American spiritual)/"Simple Gifts"(Shaker dance song)
Tin Pan Alley songs: "Give My Regards to Broadway"/"The Sidewalks of New York"
The workshop was sponsored by the Rensselaerville Historical Society.
The songs discussed and sung were either written in manuscript and printed versions or published in New York State.
