Music for personal peace...
All the music was composed and arranged by ASCAP composer, Roger Lee Hall,
and includes Christmas carols, an Easter hymn, several Afro-American spirituals
and Shaker spirituals, and other sacred music.
"Creator God" was first composed as a hymn for Earth Day in 1973 and
later expanded in two different choral versions, both on this CD:
No. 1 -- a choir anthem from 1977 conducted by the composer
and performed by the Immanuel Lutheran Church Choir in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
No. 2 - a revised choir anthem from 1993, composed in memory of John D. Herr,
former music director at Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio
